Hi I posted back in January 2009 when I had my daughter Mikka, who I would like to say is doing great. I am trying to find out if there are any cases in the Northfleet area of kent, recent or old I would like to hear. As we have 5 cases in one street and one child 2 streets away…….as I am sure you will agree that is a lot and appears more than coincidence. we are starting the process of getting this investigated but would be great to hear from anyone in this area that at any time has had a baby with gastroschisis…….thank you sonia xx

Northfleet Urban Country Park lies between Waterdales and Durham Road. This was a chalk pit, used for about 30 years starting in the 1950′s for a waste disposal site and civic amenities tip.
