Cheeky monkey TanishaBrand new to the Gastroschisis website? Don`t worry about it, at least you have now found us and you can share your experiences, thoughts and opinions as equally as those that have already registered. Registration is free and simple and makes contributing to the website so much easier, whether you are adding content of your own or commenting on others.

Just to put your mind at ease we will not be sharing your email address you when you register to send you junk or spam email, we will only ever contact you to let you know of new features or if i need to get in contact with you if there are any important developments.

It would also help if and when you add your first post, when your babies birthday is so that i can add it to the birthday announcements section. Enough talk from me, it`s now over to you register here and get started.

My son was born with Gastroschisis and has had an amazing recovery, having left Addenbrookes after only 13 days and no real problems other than very slow weight gain in the initial 6 months.

He is now on the 75th centile and 14 months old.

However he has lately started suffering with really bad constipation. This morning he almost screamed the house down trying to pass a stool. he has a reasonably balanced diet, and I try to give him prunes every few days, but he is still in pain at least once a week.

Has anyone else had this problem?
